Mgoun Valley trekking itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Marrakech to Ait Bouguemez valley

Departure from Marrakech at 8 AM, heading deep into the Atlas Mountains. You’ll be captivated by the wildness of the central High Atlas as the scenery takes shape, where rocky peaks give way to lush valleys. Every curve along the way to the Happy Valley, the home of Ait Bougmez, unveils a new aspect of Morocco’s breathtaking natural beauty. When you arrive, enjoy a cool mint tea while Enjoying the peace of the valley, and bask in the warmth of Berber hospitality. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through Ait Bougmez’s lush fields, where old Berber settlements are dotted throughout the area like gems in a crown. Day2: Explore the Ait Bouguemez

Day 3: Ait Bougmez to Ait Imi Pass (2900m) – Valley Zerkan – Tighremt N Ait Hamed (2300m)

Day 4: Tighremt Ait Ahmed to Valley Ouzighimt – Imin IREKT

You’ll travel through a variety of settings, from verdant orchards to craggy outcrops, as you follow the river’s path. If you keep going, you’ll eventually reach the charming town of Imi N’IRKT, where Berber customs are still present in every building and street. Day 5: Trekking from Imi N IREKT to Tighanimine

Day 7: Boutghrar – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Our last day of M’goun Valley trekking will head back With a stop in the busy city of Ouarzazate, to the untamed splendor of the Atlas Mountains and begin your journey back to Marrakech. Traveling through Kelaa Mgouna, which is well-known for its yearly Rose Festival, will allow you to experience the vivid hues and intricate customs that characterize Moroccan culture. The memories of your trip through the Atlas Mountains will stick with you as you wind through the breathtaking scenery of the Tizi N Tichka Pass, much like perfume. This is evidence of the timeless appeal of Morocco’s unspoiled beauty. Reach Marrakech by early evening, your spirits lifted by the allure of the mountains and your hearts full of memories.
